John Banks accepted a position with the City of Pocatello as Parks & Recreation Director in November, 2014. Prior to joining Pocatello, John served as Deputy Recreation Director/Sports Supervisor for the City of Laguna Niguel, CA. After over 20 years there, John and his wife Julie decided it was time for a change of scenery and are now very happily residing in Inkom, ID with their twin 16 year old sons. They also have two grown daughters who still reside in California. He enjoys spending time with family, exercising & working around the house to stay active, and is an avid Boston Celtics fan.

Jeff Anderson joined Valley Pride in 2014 to help with the Highway 30 berm revitalization project. Since joining, he has worked on most of Valley Pride’s projects and is our champion for the continuing upkeep of the trees on the Alameda hillside. Tim is a Partner/Owner of Santuary Wealth Management. He joined Valley Pride in 2003 because he felt that improving the “curb appeal” of the Portneuf Valley also strengthens its economic development competitiveness. Tim also helped lead the charge in fundraising for Brooklyn’s Playground.
Beth is one of the founding members of Valley Pride. She has worked on every one of its projects and is an extremely active member of the Board. Some of Beth’s favorite projects are the Chief Pocatello statue, the installation of the Hwy. 30 berms, the Alameda hillside and Brooklyn’s Playground.
Arlo Luke’s enthusiastic leadership aimed at beautifying areas of our valley is what brought Norm to the first group meeting of what would later become Valley Pride. Some of Norm’s favorite projects are the WELCOME sign on E. Center, the Hwy. 30 berms, Alameda hillside, the Chief Pocatello statue and his absolute favorite is Brooklyn’s Playground.

George joined Valley Pride for the opportunity to help individuals, groups and neighborhoods complete community projects. The river clean ups, WELCOME sign on E.
